In the
Foreste Casentinesi, Monte Falterona and Campigna National Park - Casentino - Tuscany. Between Florence and Arezzo, in Casentino's heart (Tuscany), in a wonderful natural environment made of centuries old forests rich in animal species (wolves, deers, roe deers, fallow deers, eagles) and in hermitages, monasteries and medieval castles.
Casale Camalda is an ancient Tuscan rural complex made of stone, situated in an isolated and silent location, between forests and streams, a few steps from the historical monastery of Camaldoli, which can be reached on foot through short and comfortable paths in the forest.
>>>At Casale Camalda, we welcome our guests in independent premises, more precisely in historical renovated rural annexes and in a part of the original farmstead. All the structures include bathroom, kitchen, and autonomous heating system; they are characterized by rafters and wooden or brickwork floors, and by characteristic country Tuscan-style furnishing. The materials of Casale Camalda are respectful of tradition: wood, sandstone, brickwork, and wrought iron.
Kitchens are equipped not only with dishes, but also with all the necessary things to cook: salt, sugar, spices, vinegar and, for breakfast, tea and coffee, as well as our marmalades and jams, wine, honey, and olives.
