The Holiday Farm is situated on the shores of the charming Martignano Lake, only 30 km far from Rome. Since this area has a considerable naturalistic value, it became in the year 2000 Parco del complesso lacuale Bracciano-Martignano. It is possible to walk through areas from where you can enjoy picturesque landscapes. For several years the holiday farm has been carrying out didactic activities in the large dining room of the restaurant where school can be hosted.

Hospitality

The 5 rooms placed on two floors and drawn in the old stable of the cropping farm welcome guests to share the atmosphere without sacrificing comfort.. They are all provided with heating system, air conditioning and bathroom.>>> The guesthouse has been obtained from the old barn. The large fireplace and the handmade terracotta tables in the room make the atmosphere enchanting. The outdoor arbour courtyard makes it possible to have lunch outside in summer with a view of the lake.
The traditional cuisine is combined with modern experimentations using homegrown vegetables and products from the Farm Casale.>>>

The Farm

A territory extending over about 140 hectares among cornfields, fodder valleys, wide terraced fields, stables, barns and henhouses. The vegetable garden offers its products both in winter and in summer, while the orchard and the big fig trees give us their fruits which can be eaten immediately by picking them from the trees or used to produce jams. Peaches, apricots, plums, pears and also a perfumed almond tree with its candid flowers, hidden by the rosemary plants, can be found in the farm: every product is made by following the regulations about biological agriculture to respect Nature's principles.>>>

The farmstead has been open for several years to educational activities, using the large restaurant hall to welcome groups of students.>>>

The surroundings

Those who are aaccomodated in our Holiday Farm cannot miss the opportunity to walk in the Parco Naturale di Martignano which was founded in 1999 and is one of the newest protected areas in Lazio. It extends over 16,682 hectares involving the cities of Bracciano, Trevignano, Anguillara, Rome, Sutri, Manziana, Bassano romano, Campagnano di Roma, Oriolo romano and Monterosi, between the provinces of Rome and Viterbo.>>>
