The Holiday Farm "La Pietra Antica O' Munti" is situated in an ancient palmento in Puntalazzo, between Etna and Taormina, eight kilometers from the sea. Wise renovation works have given the opportunity to recover spaces and lands, transforming them into a restaurant and rooms rich in charm and panoramic gardens and terraces, an ideal place for an authentic rural holiday in eastern Sicily. "La Pietra Antica O' Munti" is situated in Sicily, in Puntalazzo, a small locality (country hamlet of Mascali) between Etna and Taormina, bordering with Etna Park just eight kilometers from the blue sea of the eastern coast. The Structure

Since we love our land, history, and people, its perfumes and tastes, we decided to recover the ancient palmento in Puntalazzo, between Etna and Taormina, transforming it in the Holiday Farm "La Pietra Antica O' Munti", to gather ancient traditions and offer them to our guests in recovered places, without distorting the historical structure, but enhancing the interiors and the outer space where we welcome our guests with any comfort.>>>

The Restaurant

The traditional Sicilian cuisine of our restaurant "La Pietra Antica O' Munti" is based on home-made pasta, cherry tomatoes and vegetables coming from the holiday farm vegetable garden (according to the seasons), cold cuts and local cheese, grilled meat, home-made desserts, etc. Of course, there is also the cellar! Here you are the DOC and IGT red and white wines (Red and White Etna, Nerello Mascalese in purezza, Insolia, etc.). The dish "antipasti du munti" based on vegetables won the contest "Inverni di...vini" held in 2007.>>>

The Rooms

Also in the rooms of our Holiday Farm "La Pietra Antica O' Munti", you will find only peacefulness and nature. Obtained from the ancient structures of palmento, the rooms are large and cool, they have independent entrance and are furnished according to a simple Sicilian style, with wrought iron and chestnut timber beds and furnishing.
