The Holiday Farm "LA MOTTA" is an ancient and perfectly renovated rural building, situated in a panoramic area, 900 meters above sea level, in the heart of Foreste Casentinesi National Park.
The farm is near Camaldoli Monastery and La Verna sacred mountain: moreover, it is not far from the spa in Bagno di Romagna, from the Romanesque castles and churches in the Casentinese valley, and from Arezzo.
The Holiday Farm is the ideal place for nature-lovers and hikers and it is a good departure point for historical and religious tourism.
Walking in the forests and across meadows, it is possible to see roe bucks, deer, wild boars, squirrels, etc.

Hospitality

Hospitality is simple and kind: the Holiday Farm consists of three flats endowed with independent entrance, heating system, kitchen, bathroom and shower, tourist brochures. Outside, each flat has a garden with table, chairs, barbecue, and wood-burning oven.
The Holiday Farm has private parking area.

What to do
Besides trekking, mountain biking, table tennis, and bowls, La Motta Holiday Farm offers the possibility to visit the Park and its surroundings together with the Park guides. Moreover, it represents stop point for horse-riding tourism. The main activities
The Holiday Farm focuses on organic farming: we breed selected cattle in open pastures; we produce fodder, oats, potatoes, chestnuts, and breed chickens, rabbits, pigeons, etc.

• from Arezzo: SS road 71, direction Casentino (Bibbiena, Badia Prataglia)
• from Florence south: Consuma Pass, direction Casentino (Bibbiena , Badia Prataglia)
• from E 45: exit Bagno di Romagna, Passo dei Mandrioli, Badia Prataglia
  From Badia Prataglia go ahead to Chiusi della Verna; once you get to Val della Meta, turn right to Frassineta.
