The Hotel

Our Hotel is formed by 8 rooms: 3 double rooms and 5 rooms with the possibility to add one or two extra beds, so that they can be used by families or small groups.
Each room has its own color and features, autonomous air conditioning and heating system, private bathroom, telephone, and TV set.
During the summer breakfast is served outside, under the gazebo, and during the winter in the hall adjacent the restaurant.
Since the Hotel is situated in a rather handy area to reach Garda Lake, Verona, or Mantua, the structure has a night-time independent entrance giving our guests the possibility to come back at any time, with access from the private parking area at their disposal.
By previous booking, it is possible to ask for the free bicycle rental service: by bike you can go along the bicycle path going from Garda Lake to Mantua, running along the river Mincio and surrounded by the wonderful landscape of the morainic hills, rich in routes and historical features.
The free Internet Point is another service of the Hotel: the service can be used by a previous booking compatible with the requests of the other guests.

The Structure

The Hotel is situated in Monzambano, in a house dating back to mid-19th century.
The first part of the structure is characterized by the Liberty style and is of great historical interest for being the house where the famous anti-fascist Tito Zaniboni was born.
The restaurant has three halls: the small restaurant, a cosy small frescoed hall ideal for small groups or couples, the trattoria, for fast and cheap lunches, and the osteria, characterized by a country style... they all have air conditioning to maintain an ideal temperature also in summer. Outdoors, you can have lunch or dinner in a garden welcoming about 70 people.
Entering the town, the house is situated at a few hundred meters from the church in the main street: you will easily find it.
Our guests can park their car in the private parking area. At a few dozen meters there is the bus stop: by bus you can reach the surroundings, both towns or Garda Lake.

High Season (from 01/07 to 10/09 and from 24/12 to 06/01)

• Single room: 48.00 Euros
• Double room: 78.00 Euros

Low Season (from 11/09 to 23/12 and from 07/01/07)

• Single room: 45.00 Euros
• Double room: 70.00 Euros

- One extra bed: Euros 18.00 (including breakfast)
- 2nd extra bed: Euros 15.00 (including breakfast)

5% reduction if you reserve one week in advance by phone or sending us an e-mail.
Further 5% reduction if you stay 3 or more days. The Hotel works like a B&B: the overnight stay is not linked to the use of the Restaurant, but entitles our guests to have a particular menu at a special price or to benefit from a 5% reduction on our traditional menu. We are closed in January, from the day after Twelfth Night to the first ten days of February. The restaurant is closed on Wednesday during the summer and on Thursday evening during the winter.

Cuisine

Our cuisine is deeply rooted in the local traditions, the upper area of Mantua, with some hints from the surroundings, Veneto, and Rhaetian lands.
Also the wines we suggest are local wines, since our land is part of the circuit "road of the wines and tastes of the morainic hills": therefore, we try to purchase the best products from the local wine shops.
We pay particular attention to the first dishes we directly produce in our kitchen.
We also pay attention to the season, and we therefore use seasonal products. For the second dishes, we use the best meat and try to suggest several local specialties.
The desserts are created by our chef Luca and also in this case, the attempt is to be linked to the territory.
For pizza-lovers and children, we cook fragrant pizzas in the wood-burning oven, for all the tastes.
