Abruzzo, Lazio e Molise National Park, it is a typical medieval village where it is possible to carry out several activities ranging from hikings on the mountains or on dedicated paths, to sunbathing on the shores of the Barrea lake, where also canoe rental is available. You can visit the museums and the temporary exhibitions, observe wolves and lynxes in their habitats. In the Camosciara Services Area it is possible to rent horses, the panoramic little train, bikes, and to light the fire for a tasty barbecue! In the village there are: bocce and five-a-side football court, game room, several business activities (hairdresser, clothes shop, souvenirs, handicrafts and local products) and a Cultural Center as well. Significant are also the initiatives and events realized by the locals: the year-end torchlight procession, the Native Scene, the Infiorata del Corpus Domini, the "Scurpella" festival, the Theater in dialect, and the folk festival week.
