The Royal Spas

In Valle Gesso, in the Province of Cuneo, in the heart of Alpi Marittime Park, surrounded by centuries-old trees, you will find "Terme Reali di Valdieri" (Valdieri Royal Spas), at an altitude of 1,370m asl. The highest thermal facilities in Italy.
The enchanting beauty of the landscape, rich in alpine flora and fauna, gives to Terme di Valdieri unique features in Italy: as a matter of fact, it combines the benefits of the treatments with the benefits of the climate, particularly mild for its proximity to the sea, as well as with the benefits deriving from the contact with a luxuriant and uncontaminated nature.
The spas, thanks to the exclusive combination of natural features and efficacy of the treatments, are the best place where you can take care of yourself. Terme Reali di Valdieri are part of the association ECOTURISMO IN MARITTIME which joined, together with Alpi Marittime Park, the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism, aiming at developing a tourism respecting the environment and the local communities.

The Hotel

On 10th July 1857 King Vittorio Emanuele II placed the first stone of this four-floor structure, 25m high and 95m long, which still houses Hotel Royal Centro Benessere. This Hotel, entirely renovated, can currently offer 100 en-suite rooms with telephone; café, basement, congress hall, TV halls, halls for ceremonies and banquets, fitness room, swimming-pool with thermal sulfur water (34°C), large park, private garden, fishing reserve, and heliport.

The Hotel has an indoor connection with the THERMAL FACILITIES and the BEAUTY FARM.
In the surroundings it is possible to practice sports activities like mountaineering, trekking, climbing, canoeing, rafting, and horse riding.
In loc. Terme, in an outbuilding of the Hotel, there is a mountain hut which is a lap of GTA (Great Traverse of the Alps).

Wellness and Beauty Center

Spas are the best and most pleasant way to safeguard your own heritage of health and wellness.
The Wellness Center is the ideal place to relax and benefit at the same time from the several face and body treatments.
The Beauty Center of Terme Reali di Valdieri mainly uses THERMAL SEAWEEDS, CAVES, and ALGAVAL cosmetics, exclusively used by the Spas, as well as all the characteristic treatments of the Beauty Farm, in a relaxing atmosphere and surrounded by expert staff.

The Swimming-pool

The structure has two outdoor swimming-pools with sulfur water (34°C), one reserved for the guests of the Hotel Royal Centro Benessere, and the other open to the public. Both of them offer a large solarium. From the swimming-pools you can reach the WELLNESS CENTER, open every day from June to September: here you can try the special treatments of our Spas like the cosmetic facial application of seaweeds, the natural cave full of sulfur vapor, and the thermal Jacuzzi with essential oils.

The Natural Caves and the Thermal Seaweeds

The "natural caves" full of sulfur vapors represent the middle way between sauna and Turkish bath and are used to purify our organism and eliminate toxins.
The access to the caves is allowed by previous medical visit only. To complete the treatment, therapeutic, relaxing, and toning massages, as well as Ayurveda and Shiatzu massages are available. The "thermal seaweeds" are applied on face and decolletage. They have a great purifying, toning, and moisturizing action. Before the application, it is recommended a face cleansing treatment and, already after the first application, your skin will be fresher, more relaxed and luminous.
"Jacuzzi" with sulfur water, besides the purifying action of the thermal water, has a toning action and, enriched with essential oils, conveys the whole body a sense of wellness.
