Hotel-Restaurant La Torre, once Pensione Belvedere, is rich in ancient Tuscan traditions. It was created in the 1950s by Emma and Tosco, in a villa of historical value with characteristic floors (timber and brickworks), tower, and noble coat of arms.
Surrounded by the peacefulness and nature of the Park, far from the traffic of Via Nazionale, it watches over the characteristic town.

Accommodation

Family-run business, with heating system.
It offers 32 large and luminous rooms, some of which include two rooms, all with en-suite bathroom and shower and possibility of TV. The structure can welcome 90 guests.
Large and panoramic restaurant halls also for banquets or meetings, reading hall, bar, reserved hall. Private car park at the shade of the trees.
Very romantic and relaxing place, particularly suitable for couples, families with children, school groups, religious groups, or the elderly, mountain-lovers, trekking-lover, or if you are looking for relax.
Ideal playground for children.

The Pleasures of the Table

Traditional but creative cooking, with particular specialties and local dishes.
Our cuisine skillfully combines the quality and genuineness of the local products with the imagination of our chef, enriches the ancient taste of the traditional appetizers, fresh pasta rolled out by hand, classical Tuscan soups, traditionally cooked meat, local season mushrooms, and homemade desserts.

Tours

The territory is scattered with several itineraries for trekking, mountain bike, cross-country skiing, and horse riding. Several trails leave from the Hotel: you can carry out tours in the mountains and forests of Foreste Casentinesi Park and, on demand for groups, we can organize tours led by tour guides.
Thanks to the recent hunting and fishing rules, along the itineraries it is possible to meet various species of the local wildlife like roe deer, wild boars, foxes, porcupines, fawns, squirrels, dormice, and many species of birds and birds of prey, while in the watercourses you can admire several fish species, among which the Salmonidae families stand out.

Tourist Itineraries
Thanks to the strategic position of the Hotel, situated halfway along the "sacred route" of Camaldoli Hermitage and Monastery and La Verna Sanctuary, you can carry out tourist trips by car or coach:

In 10 minutes you can reach ancient villages and the castles of Poppi, Romena, Stia... and all the ecomuseums of Casentino.
In 20 minutes you can reach Bagno di Romagna and enjoy thermal treatments.
In 60-90 minutes you can reach historical cities of art like Florence, Cortona, San Sepolcro, Siena, Arezzo, Assisi, San Marino, Caprese Michelangelo... or tourist resorts like Cesenatico, Riccione, Rimini, etc.

The tours and visits in Foreste Casentinesi Park, organized and led by the visitor centers, are offered by the Hotel and free for the guests who would like to participate.
