Area Marina Protetta Torre del Cerrano

The Environmental Characterization of the Beach Resorts is being carried out with a programme to raise awareness and bring the managers of the beach resorts closer to the themes of the Marine Protected Area, rewarding every year the most careful managers with the recognition of the "Lido Amico del Parco Marino - Friendly Lido of the Marine Park".

The process started with the signing of an agreement with all the major bathing associations to promote an agreement as part of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism, which provided for an "Environmental Characterization of the Beach Resorts".
