Area Naturale Protetta del Monteferrato

Trails interesting the Monteferrato hill complex, consisting of three cone-shaped summits: Mt. Piccioli (362m), Mt. Mezzano (398m), and Poggio Ferrato (420m). This is a very interesting area from a geological, mineralogical, and botanical point of view: as a matter of fact, it includes outcropping gabbro, serpentine, and red jaspers.
