| L'arte, con il suo elevarsi al di sopra della comunicazione di tutti i giorni,
è senza dubbio "aurea". A Santa Sofia esiste una galleria d'arte contemporanea voluta dai santasofiesi che, se rapportata al loro numero, esalta il livello di sensibilità artistica nel paese. Una sensibilità che trova conferma nelle chiese e nelle vie, nei palazzi del capoluogo e delle frazioni, dove, nonostante il tempo e gli eventi ne abbiano quasi cancellato le tracce, tanti gioielli d'arte sono ancora da riscoprire! Della musica invece di tracce ce n'è in abbondanza, forse perchè questa è l'arte che più coinvolge la gente: ed un paese di poche migliaia di persone che ha saputo però mantenere vivo un corpo bandistico con oltre 150 anni di storia è un paese dove la musica è quotidianità, e dove anche i migliori esecutori trovano "orecchi" allenati. |

The Art, raising above the usual communication, is undoubtedly "golden". In Santa Sofia there is a contemporary art gallery that exalts the artistic level of the village. This artistic sensibility can be found in the churches and in the streets, in the palaces where, in spite of the time and the events, we can find a lot of artistic gems! Music is everywhere because this is the most involving of all arts: and a little village that can keep alive a band with an history of more than 150 years, it's a village where music is an everyday thing and where the best performers can find "trained ears". |
