	MEDITERRE THE MEDITERRANEAN PARKS FAIR Mediterre is an event organized by Federparchi together with Regione Puglia and under the patronage of the Italian Ministry of the Environment. It is held in March in Apulia and all Countries facing the Mediterranean Sea participate in it: among the others, Spain, France, Croatia, Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon, but also Countries like Portugal and Serbia which, although being without access to the Mediterranean, have always shared the natural, historical, and cultural events characterizing it. During the days of the Fair, the exhibitors show all the offers of the protected areas as far as nature, tourism, culture, and local products are concerned, as well as the "good practices" linked to the conservation of the environment. The Fair is completed by international meetings and debates in which experiences, actions, and new strategies are exchanged and compared.

	PARK LIFE THE FAIR OF PARKS AND NATURAL LIVING Park Life - Fiera dei Parchi e del Vivere Naturale is an event organized by Federparchi, Legambiente, Compagnia dei Parchi - the tour operator of the Italian protected areas - and Fiera Roma, with the contribution of the Italian Ministry of the Environment. The event, held in March in Rome, is dedicated to the Italian protected areas and to the protected areas of the Mediterranean Basin. The beautiful and good things of our Country show off. During Park Life you can admire the most beautiful and charming places of Italy and the Mediterranean, from the alpine chain to the coasts, from forests to islands, you can taste local and quality products, the result of centuries-old gastronomic traditions, and discover ancient professions and local craftsmanship. Exhibits and multisensorial corners represent landscapes and cultures unusual for the town.

	THE EUROPEAN DAY OF PARKS On 24th May, the European Day of Parks, Federparchi - in collaboration with the whole protected areas system - organizes a series of events, not only on 24th May, but for the whole week. The events are organized by the Park Authorities and take place in the territory of parks and reserves. During the past editions, the successful event "Parchinpiazza" was organized in the main Italian towns.
