All the 20,000 pages existing on 31st December 2008 on Parks.it, the Portal about Parks in Italy, have been created thanks to the iconographic and editorial information provided by over 200 different authors: besides Federparchi - The Italian Federation of Parks and Nature Reserves (Italian text) and the Department of the Environment (Italian text), most of the authors are Public Authorities: the Managing Authorities of the protected areas, but also many regional Councilor's Departments and some Environmentalist Associations, as managers of nature sanctuaries. |
