A preview for next week…
On 5th June in the Parco Fluviale del Po – tratto Torinese (Piemonte, in Torino)
Within the event “Un Po per Tutti”, the Ente Parco del Po Torinese invites us on Saturday 5th June to the “7° Regata Nazionale dei Parchi Fluviali”, twinship between parks and canoeing companies by classic wooden boats (jole) with four rowers and a coxswain.
The event will take place along the River Po, in the stretch between Reale Società Canottieri Cerea, V.le Virgilio 61, Parco del Valentino and Murazzi with the following program: preliminary heats, beginning at 11.00 a.m.; final heats, beginning at 5.00 p.m.; final race 4th, 5th and 6th place at 7.15 p.m.; final race 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place at 7.30 p.m.
Moreover, there will be the following side events:
“In giro sul Po”, safe boat trial organized by the Associazione Sport at Murazzi del Po (free activity, from 11.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m.);
“Oasi dei prodotti tipici” from 11.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m., organized by the Federazione Provinciale Coldiretti di Torino (V.le Virgilio, Parco del Valentino);
“Scatti di regata, immagini sul Fiume”, photographic exhibit at Murazzi del Po organized by the Associazione Sport (from 11.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.);
“Trofei storici di Canottaggio”, exhibit of trophies in collaboration with Canoeing Associations of Torino organized by Associazione Sport, at Società Canottieri Armida, V.le Virgilio 45, Parco del Valentino (free entrance, from 3.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.);
“Emigranti”, a theater and music journey in which the characters coming from far places and with other traditions bring back the magic air of songs and sounds of today and yesterday, organized by Faber Teater from Chivasso (at Giardino Ginzburg, C.so Moncalieri at 4.00 p.m.; free entrance);
“Delizie e specialità del Parco del Po”, at 5.00 p.m. tasting of wines and typical products of the area of Torino organized by Consorzi di tutela Vini D.O.C. Alto Piemonte (compulsory booking, free entrance) at Società Canottieri Caprera, C.so Moncalieri, 22.
