	Ring-Route of the Zatta Beech Tree Wood

	On 6th June in the Parco Naturale Regionale dell'Aveto (Liguria, very near Genova) The Ente Parco organizes on Sunday 6th June the hike of intermediate difficulty "Anello della faggeta dello Zatta" leading to the discovery of one of the most beautiful beech tree woods of Liguria. A tour throughout a beech tree forest, among nature and history: imposing trees, rock formations, wonderful springtime blossoms, but also "neviere" (underground isolated rooms where snow was preserved for a long time for several uses) and old coal farmyards, which bear testimony to ancient mountain activities. The meeting will take place at 9.30 a.m. at Passo del Bocco (Municipality of Mezzanego - GE), while the return is foreseen at 4.00 p.m. In case of bad weather, the Park Guides might decide to cancel the hike.
