Delivery of tensile structures to shelter the lambs
Notice to create a ranking of farmers interested in receiving the free loan of
the mobile structures to shelter the lambs in the park area during the summer
transhumance.
The
action C2 of the grassland project
is fully underway: it fosters a homogeneous grazing activity on pastures of
high conservation value (Habitat 6210, 6230, 5130).
The Park Authority, within the "Life Praterie" community project, intends
to give the free loan of mobile structures to be used as shelters for
the lambs during the summer transhumance in the protected area, in order to improve the
animals' well-being and to optimize the working conditions of the zootechnical
operators, to carry out the seasonal adjustment of the production and to improve
the management and the use of the pastures.
The notice addresses the professional farmers and the owners of farms who graze
their herds in summer in one of the Park's municipalities.
The allocation of the structures will be based on the ranking drawn up on the
basis of the expression of interest that breeders have to send to the Park
within the 10th of February 2014.
