Such an important result represents a fundamental boost for the right management, conservation and the enhancement of the Geodiversity in our Country since it is a UNESCO World Heritage.

Italian Geoparks would really like to thank both the Italian National Commission for UNESCO and the Permanent Delegation of Italy to UNESCO in Paris that, together with the Commissions and Representatives of other nations, in the last years have granted a precious and firm support to obtain this prestigious acknowledgment.
