Professor Roger Thompson from New York takes an interest in the contents of “Praterie”

Cultural and scientific interest towards the LIFE "Praterie" project increases. After British writer Philip Limbery (CEO of CIWF - Compassion in World Farming, and author of the acclaimed book "Farmageddon") visited the project area, meeting the project staff and a breeder in Gran Sasso, American scholar Roger Thompson, teacher at Stony Brook University in New York, also took an interest in the LIFE project, in order to collect experiences and good practices for his next book on bear management.

For this purpose, the project press unit organised a Skype conference with the participation of project manager Annette Mertens, project internal coordinator Pina Leone, head of scientific service Federico Striglioni, and veterinarian Umberto Di Nicola.
