The Route of Fiolera Villages

Tour with snow rackets

  • Trail Conditions: On foot
  • Departure: Piazza Fraz. Fiolera (700m)
  • Duration: 4 hour/s
  • Difference in height: 400m

After parking the car in Fiolera country hamlet, climb to borgata Fuggin following the main road (first asphalt, and then dirt road). From Fuggin, take the trail leading slightly uphill to Olocco chapel (1 hour). From the Chapel, go ahead along the snow-clad road on the right (road signs to Gias Mascarone) for 1,600m until you reach the Junction leading to borgata Baudinet (30 min). Take the trail on the right (be careful for the frozen depressions, 30 min) first with a trail cut into the mountainside and then, going downhill, you will reach Borgata Caudine in a wonderful panoramic position.
From the lower houses, take the road on the left (road signs to Via delle Borgate), reach Vallone dei Mauri, and go ahead towards Borgata Colletto, where you will enjoy a wonderful view over Valle Pesio (1 hour). From here, go downhill on the right following the road signs to Borgata Truna and you will reach Fiolera country hamlet or, in alternative, do downhill on the right to S. Bartolomeo on the slope with a southern exposure.
