The lap "Il Po dei Re" (the Po of the Kings) develops in the urban environment. A cycle facility runs along the river Po, separated from the car traffic and surrounded by nature. It offers cyclists a relaxing itinerary, interesting for its landscape, environmental, and historical features.
It is a journey among the architecture and the history that have made Turin important: the town of the Savoy is rich in Baroque and neoclassical monuments, some of which recognized by Unesco as World Heritage. Along the river Po, you can often sight herons, ducks, and migratory birds. Small detours from the itinerary described give the opportunity to reach the most elegant squares and streets of Turin, rich in historical cafés, confectioner's shops, and chocolate shops, art galleries and museums.
