Environmental Education Projects 2009/2010

Environmental Education or Education to Sustainable Development represents a way to discover the environment and interact with it, considering it as a complex entity generated by the interaction of physical, biological, historical, social, and individual elements.
Senesi Nature Reserves play their role of nature conservation and Environmental Education aiming at a deep integration with the rest of the territory.
Since 1998, the Nature Reserves Office, in association with teachers, companies committed in the local territory, freelancers, and associations, has been developing an Environmental Education program including refresher courses for teachers and projects carried out in collaboration with schools.
