An experiment in Valle di Saviore

Completed with an essay by Gian Claudio Sgabussi, a map of the place names, the road and path system, and the historical-archaeological features of Saviore Valley.
The book, edited by Oliviero Franzoni, collects the results of a project promoted by Adamello Park regarding the census and cataloging of the place names of Saviore Valley. The single place names, that is the traditional ways of calling places, deeply linked to the territory and used by the people, are localized, transcribed with attention, and explained in their etymology and complex meaning.
