The first part of the book is dedicated to the description of the ecology of the water environments of Adamello Park, their different typologies (mountain streams, valley rivers, alpine lakes), and the species living in them.
There is then a section dedicated to each lake, river, and stream of the Park with descriptions, photos, data and maps, while the last section of the book is dedicated to the methods used to study water and fish.
The tables in the annex contain the results of the surveys carried out for each lake and watercourse.
