The mule track develops uphill among pastures and rocks towards the edge of Gelas north glacier and reaches Pera de Fener, the historical hunting lodge of the King.
A very thin track, often covered with snow until late in the season, crosses the moraine; it follows a ledge equipped with a metal rope, giving the opportunity to reach Passo dei Ghiacciai.
From the Agnel Lakes below, go ahead carefully along a trail towards Pagarì.
Near the mountain hut, a botanic garden houses the most precious endemic species of Marittime.
