The Museum/Visitor Center of Alto Garda Bresciano Park is situated in Prabione di Tignale (BS). Since its opening in June 2002, it has been offering several didactic proposals for schools and parish/tourist groups.
It is a strange, almost magic place: you go down along a tunnel and reach a 10,000 years old glacier, you meet the bear, the red deer, the deer, the suspended trees and a dark room where all you have to do is listen. It is a modern Museum formed by 10 halls pervaded by images and sounds, re-enactments of past periods and reconstructions of environments, naturalistic collections and collections of old working tools. Along the itinerary, you will also find videos and interactive areas. The suggested activities deal with several social, cultural, historical, environmental, and anthropological aspects of our territory and lead pupils and students to rediscover ancient professions that have been forgotten or entirely changed (the citrus tree gardener, the paper-maker, the cheese-maker...), through games and didactic labs. Moreover, it is possible to go along ancient trails on foot and cross forests full of tales to tell: tales of bandits, coal-makers, animals, and men.

How to get there: highway Milano-Venezia A4, exit Brescia Est - direction Salò; follow the road SS Gardesana 45 bis in direction Riva d/G and, after Gargnano, follow the detour to Tignale.
