The territory of Alto Garda Park, established by the Regional Law n° 58/1989, includes nine Municipalities (Salò, Gardone Riviera, Toscolano Maderno, Gargnano, Tignale, Tremosine, Limone sul Garda, Valvestino and Magasa) and extends on a territory of 38,269 hectares, almost the half of which are covered by woodlands.
About 27,000 persons live in the area.
