Fresh pasta in the shape of an eight, about one centimeter long. The dough is made of common wheat flour.

Curiosities: this pasta is the result of the ability of wise hands and of a light pressure of the fingers, which gives this pasta the typical shape of a butterfly. Today, with a lack of imagination and ability, instead of their fingers people use a special mold to shape the pasta.
