Also this year Appia Antica Park opens its gates to schools with the aim to give to all the classes the possibility to visit this protected area rich in history, but where also nature and landscape reserve wonderful surprises.
The Park suggests a series of thematic visits, which can be different according to the age.
As far as the adopted methodology, there will be an introductory meeting in the classroom (half day) and a few days after (at least one week) the guided visit to the Park. Moreover, the Park has decided to work with a few students for each activity (one group or two of students, no more than 30 pupils). Appia Antica Park is a protected area where monuments and nature probably represent a unique environment in the world, an area to safeguard and respect and where you can move with small-size vehicles.
For thematic guided visits, the interested schools can write to f.mazza@parcoappiaantica.it or send a fax to the Communication and Environmental Education Office at the number +39 06 51883879.
