The "taste of biodiversity" is the leitmotif chosen by this guidebook to tell the readers how the excellent Ligurian food is indissolubly bound to the activities intended to the safeguard and enhancement of a rich, refined and widespread regional biodiversity. When you will discover the typical white cooking of the Western Liguria, when you will taste the Amaretti di Sassello, the parks' honey or the "pigato", and when you will enjoy the cheese or the fresh anchovies, you cannot help but immediately think of the beautiful alpine pastures, the autumn beech forests, the chestnut forests, the clear water of the marine protected areas and the scents of the Maquis shrubland… and of how precious the work of men and women protecting this area is.

A publication of 80 pages which deals with 19 of the parks and protected areas belonging to Liguria, one of the regions that mostly care about the creation of a sustainable development model thanks to the environmental safeguard.
