The itinerary (between 200 and 650m above sea-level) starts in Crevari and reaches Arenzano. It is described in detail in the guidebook "Itinerari birdwatching nella Provincia di Genova".
You will go through cultivations, olive groves, meadows, Mediterranean maquis areas, broadleaf tree mixed woods, more or less thick pinewoods. In this wide range of environments, a number of birds can be observed and heard. Some stretches along the ridges with a southern exposure offer wonderful views and are ideal observation points of bird migration during the spring; as a matter of fact, the conformation of the territory and the orientation of the coast create a natural way of passage for the avifauna. It is possible to sight: Swallows, Swifts, House martins, Starlings, Caffinches, Hawfinches, Meadow pipits, Tree pipits, Mistle thrushes, Honey buzzards, Short-toed eagles, Black kites, Marsh harriers, Kestrels, Bee eaters, Wood pidgeons, Turtle doves, White storks and Black storks.
