Parco Naturale Regionale del Beigua

Austrian and French people fought on the Beigua massif for 7 days, from 10th to 16th April 1800. The Great Mountain was violated, those places became theater of war and the poor houses spread over the near valleys experienced the despair. Today the Beigua mountain is an immense monument to it's people's suffering.
The "sentieri della memoria" (memorial paths) are paths which have been traced for that specific purpose, and they will propose to tourists a different and fascinating way to approach our history.
