Parco Naturale Regionale del Beigua

Built at the end of the 19th century, the Fort controlled the surroundings to protect the gateway to Piedmont. In use until the end of the World War I, the Fort was then abandoned until 1997 when the Municipality of Masone decided to restore it; part of the building now is a stop along the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri.
