Pollone does not have at the moment its own web site. Therefore, we provide some information about the town.

  • San Barnaba Church
17th-century Chapel built on one of the summits surrounding the town.

History

The love for nature, a considerable knowledge of the exotic fauna, a great passion for gardening probably were the prerequisites which led towards the half of the 19th century Giovanni Piacenza, an wool industrialist from Pollone, to purchase the Burcina hill and to transform it into a Park by following the features of the landscape garden born in England in the 18th century.
