Prato Spilla and Ballano Lake are among the main tourist destinations in the upper Val Cedra (Monchio delle Corti), both as final destinations for visits and stays, and as starting points for countless excursions and outdoor activities.

Prato Spilla is, together with Schia (both belonging to the Park), one of the ski areas still present in the Appennino Parmense.
