The importance of the Park depends not only on its naturalistic features, but also on the evidences of our origins and history. This publication collects the proceedings of the 3rd cycle of seminars organized by Ecosezione delle Murge del Movimento Azzurro in collaboration with Murgia Materana Park Authority, and aims at following the way started by Quaderno n°1 with the hope to sensitize institutions to cooperate in the elaboration of policies aiming at safeguarding the environment in the interest of the local community, within the broader and more complex "Mediterranean Ecoregion".
