The Itineraries in Murgia Timone

Jazzo Gattini Visitor Center is the ideal departure point for the itineraries developing in Murgia Timone, panoramic area in front of the Sassi di Matera, representative of the whole protected area. As a matter of fact, the area - including a spectacular stretch of the canyon of Gravina di Matera - is rich in rupestrian churches. From Jazzo Gattini, guided visits are organized every day.
