This itinerary leaves from the town quarter of Monterosso and is the traditional itinerary used for decades by the hikers from Bergamo. Along via Quintino Basso first and via Quintino Alto then, you will get near a big villa and gate, in less than 30 minutes, under "Ca' della Matta" (Park Center) and shortly to S. Marco al Colle della Maresana Church, 545m. The other way to reach Colle della Maresana is to follow the asphalt road leaving from Pontesecco (several road signs).
