The trail slightly climbing in a downy oak and hop hornbeam woodland leaves from loc. S.Rocco di Ranica (small church and trattoria). It develops cut into the mountain side of both the amphitheater of the hills overhanging Torre Boldone (great panorama) and the small valleys forming the underlying Valle del Gardellone to reach a ridge which from the north slopes down to the plain.
