The trail starts at Casa Marina in the Sottovenda district. After a stretch of dirt road, a steep climb on the right leads to the old Fontana Olivato spring, after which the path runs round the bottom of a large hornbeam, climbs up to a terrace and enters a sunny chestnut wood with white oak trees, South European flowering ash, hornbeam and undergrowth brimming with spring-flowering plants of all kinds.
