Products: Honey

Land and sea preserve several traditions, including cooking traditions. From the land, the mixed flower honey, the extra-virgin olive oil, and the wine produced with Montepulciano and Sangiovese grapes. From the sea, fish and the famous mussel called mosciolo, caught in the crystal-clear waters where the mountain reflects itself. Conero is also known as "the land of wine and vines" and, above all, as the "land of Rosso Conero". The geology of the area is particularly suitable for the cultivation of red grapes and the microclimate, with its sea breeze, contributes to make the vineyards particularly productive.

Agriculture in Conero Park
In the agricultural products of Conero Park it is possible to find the flavors of the Mediterranean sun, the calcareous ground, and the saltiness. The characteristic cultivation is represented by wheat, alternating with sunflower, beetroot, meadows of legumes, vineyards, olive groves, and medicinal plants. Moreover, sheep breeding activities and beekeeping are carried out. Since ancient times, these few activities go hand in hand in our countryside, even if they are characterized by very different methods and technologies.
