The Cantina del Cónero (Cónero wine cellar) was founded in 1972 by a group of local farmers and it now counts 170 members, thus making in the largest and most important group of producers of Rosso Cónero DOC wine.Although all grapes are grown in vineyards close to the cellar, they are all different thanks the great diversity of the soil, therefore, the wine it produces is the only wine capable of blending together the warmth of the the Cónero, the sweet smell of the sunny Adriatic coast and the vitality of the sandy soil of the Offagna and Candia hills. thanks to its modern equipment, the "Cantina del Cónero" offers its clients a wine which can rightly be considered one of the best Italian red wines. There has been a constant rise in demand for Cónero red wine and, the Cantina del Cónero is aiming to increase the number of vineyards producing this quality wine.
