LIFE Initiatives during the Bird Watching Festival in Comacchio
(Comacchio, 24 Apr 12) Within the LIFE09NATIT000110 NATURA 2000 IN THE PO DELTA Project some initiatives have been planned to spread the ongoing activities and the first goals achieved. On the occasion of the Bird Watching Festival taking place every year in the last week of April, three initiatives have been organized: the first one on the 27th of April consists of a tour along the intervention areas in the Comacchio Valleys, and it addresses journalists. The other two initiatives are planned for the next day: one for schools includes a visit on boat to the Comacchio Valleys, the other one is a conference during which the Managing Authority for Parks and Biodiversity of the Po Delta presents the ongoing european projects, within the Po Delta territory, contributing to know, protect and enhance the biodiversity heritage in this territory.
