There are many gateways to the Park, above all along SS road 51 di Alemagna from Fiames to the Cimabanche Pass, at the border with Bolzano Province and along SS road 48 delle Dolomiti towards Falzarego Pass and Tre Croci Pass. On the Ampezzano slope there are 5 more gateways: the cableways of Lagazuoi and Tofana ("Freccia nel Cielo"), the chair-lifts of Cristallo, and the roads leading to the mountain hut "Rifugio Dibona" and Malga Ra Stua; the latter is closed to the traffic from mid-July to mid-September, and is replaced by a shuttle service leaving from Fiames car park.
On the north-eastern slope there are no easy accesses because the border runs along a high ridge line, while on the north-western slope you can enter the Park going through Vallon di Lagazuoi, val di Fanes, Alpe di Fodara Vedla, and val Salata.
Throughout the territory there are a number of trails and roads closed to the traffic, and on the groups of Tofana, Cristallo, and Cime di Fanes there are also many vie ferrate and equipped trails.
