Inaugurated on 24th May 2008, Cimolais Visitor Center changes look.
Exhibit divided into four sections entirely dedicated to the Park Wildlife, through an interactive and multimedia route.
New: Interactive and Dynamic Floor where visitors can interact with the background images, changing them as they like.
The Visitor Center is situated on the ground floor of the building housing the Park administrative offices. If consists of different sections leading visitors across a route studied to provide a specific and detailed overall view on the Park wildlife.
At the entrance, visitors have at disposal general information on the three parks partner of the project: Dolomiti Friulane Park, Prealpi Giulie Park, and Triglav National Park.

Moreover, thanks to specific panels it is possible to discover the other Visitor Centers and the main Points of Interest.

A wall relief model reconstructs the Park perimeter and a projection highlights the territorial map displaying description and location of the main casere, points of interest, mountain huts, trails, and Visitor Centers.
Going ahead towards the corridor, visitors will find further descriptive panels dedicated to the Park FAUNA, FLORA, and GEOLOGY. A display cabinet contains natural finds regarding these three main features. For instance, it is possible to observe a lichen, a deer antler, or a marly limestone.
The first section houses a particular route for both adults and children. The main features of the three best known animals of the Park are on display: eagle, chamois, and marmot.
The opposite wall houses a display cabinet with pull-out objects containing real animal finds like feathers, skulls, skins, eggs, but also tracks.
Opening the drawers, it is possible to listen to the call of the chamois, the marmot, and the eagle. And in others discover the chamois straw bed and the marmot den.
