Parco Naturale del Fiume Sile

It is situated north-west of S. Michele Vecchio, a village belonging to Quarto d'Altino. Beyond the river bank it develops an interesting wetland environment with a freshwater swamp, which was originated by the naturalization of the hollows in the inside of the lobe, which formed some peculiar environments.
The biotope is interesting during the migratory period for wood and swamp passerines, and for diurnal birds of prey as well, also thanks to the presence of the forest.
