This section links the Great Trail from Orvieto (GAO). It starts in Prodo, an embattled medieval hamlet. Not far from its (private) castle, do not miss the Fosso Campione, an enchanting brook – a real gem shrouded in the green heart of the Park. Canyoning fans can walk along it, and even swim among its high rocky walls; beware of heavy rains, though, as the flow of water may suddenly rise. Less expert hikers will rather walk toward another brook, Fosso Salcini, on an unsurfaced road, then uphill, until they get at a cart-road. Go on for about 1.5 km, as far as Podere Trino, then cross Fosso Pianello and take the cart-road leading to Podere il Colle. After some 500 m the path joins the Titignano Trail, thus leading you to the hamlet of Titignano. Go on towards La Roccaccia; after 1 km follow the pathway that crosses the Fosso della Contea and leads to Torre Luca. After another 3.5 km along the Tiber, cross the river on the national road, go past Torricella and walk on towards the final destination, Asproli.
