This section starts in Civitella del Lago, from where you can enjoy a gorgeous view over Corbara Lake and its valley. Leave the hamlet, go past the graveyard and the sports ground, until you get at the Buche del Vento – "Wind Hollows". From here, a downhill mule-track will lead you to the Fosso dell'Elce Barile. Go on southwards along the brook for 2 km, then take the asphalted road on the right; after another 500 m, walk on the cart-road leading down to the Fosso di Valle Grande. Walk along it for 1.5 km, until you get at the Ponte – "Bridge" – dell'Argentario; from here you reach the asphalted road that will you back to the starting point.
