From Castelmezzano town center, set in the steep and bizarre "arme", follow for about 600m the SP road no. 13. Near the cemetery, take the trail connecting in the past the town centers of Castelmezzano and Pietrapertosa. The itinerary continues downhill: it is covered with sandstone slabs and surrounded on both sides by dry-stone walls of the ancient terraced lands, from which vineyards and orchards have been obtained.
