Climb the western and southern slopes of Mt. Castellaro meeting again the road in the village of Vallemania. From the village church, take a narrow road leading to a small vineyard. At the junction with trail 121B, go ahead on the right along the carriage road crossing the western slope of Mt. La Croce and reach the pass of Colle S. Angelo. From the pass go ahead on the left, along the carriage road, to reach the first houses of Rosenga. Climb across the houses of the Village, along the carriage road, until you reach the meadows at the pass separating Mt. Frasassi from Mt. Ginguno. Here take on the right trail 121A climbing the woody eastern slope of Mt. of Frasassi, reaching the edge of the walls overhanging the Gola. This is the realm of the eagles, and here the itinerary ends, in order not to disturb these imposing and rare birds of prey.
