The History of the Carnival in Salbertrand between tradition and modernity (+ DVD)

Starting from a thorough analysis of the alpine Carnivals in the European and Italian context, the author, anthropologist from the University of Bergamo, describes the Carnival of Salbertrand from the first post-war period to present times: "Carnevale di ieri", with the 2006 re-enactment by the Theater Research Permanent Workshop from Salbertrand and "il Carnavale di oggi", held every year thanks to the enthusiasm of both young people and the elder.
The attached multimedia support, produced by the Association Musicaviva, gathers documents and videos regarding the last editions of Carnavà du guéini (2006 and 2007).
